Default Reason for Offline Server - 02-08-2010, 07:37 AM
You probably noticed the RuneLocus status says the Server is offline.
Well it is.

I don't have the Plesk information on this computer, so I'm unable to login to restart the container.

Terminology:
Plesk: Control Panel for the VPS, where you restart the container.
Container: Basically what manages all the processes, the VPS shut down and hasn't turned back online. You have to restart the container before anything will happen.

So wait patiently for Aidan to restart the container

We currently don't have a VPS. Bonedaddy was looking for a server which was better than this for $40.

I've simply said that we won't get a decent one worth having for that much. He asked me what we should do and i said it's up too him.

He needs to be taking a larger roll in DHGaming and untill that happens i won't be putting as much effort in either.

Well the thing is we have been currently paying $14 per month for the server, I felt things were going well and wanted to better dhgaming. Therefore 4 days before the server went down I told html I would up the budget to $40. I asked him to find a new server. He then comes back to me and says he “cant find any worth having” this makes no sense to me as we were on $14 before I then add another $25 to the budget and he cant find one? I then asked how much would be needed and he said $50 but he said we wouldn’t make any profit, I can not afford to throw away $50 per month. I really don’t know what to do and when I ask html I get hardly any response. I really do not understand how when all of a sudden I add more to the budget a server can not be found. Maybe you or Austin can find a server!
